Ellie | Age 5

Challenge

Ellie’s parents came to me when she was having a hard time with her focus due to her ADHD. Ellie was approaching kindergarten and her parents wanted her to have the tools to self-regulate.

Solution

Sensory Alignment Protocol - this service uses sound vibrations and guided meditation to regulate the nervous system.

Results

After 2 sessions Ellie was visibly calmer and more focused on individual tasks. Ellie’s parents left the sessions with tools to help themselves and Ellie regulate the nervous system so that they didn’t feel helpless and confused but empowered and in control of situations. This allowed for more positive interactions.

J.B | Age 12

Challenge

J.B’s parents reached out to me as they noticed he was struggling with feeling overwhelmed while around others due to his Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). After J.B’s evaluation, we determined he specifically struggled with sensory overload.

Solution

One-on-one 30 minute weekly tactile play. Our goal was to increase communication and interaction with others while decreasing sensory activities to improve fine motor skills.

Results

After a few 30 minute weekly sessions J.B showed a decrease in tactile aversions to various textures such as sand and playdoh. He also initiated eye contact and communication via signing (carryover words during previous sessions at home). Lastly, J.B began to try new foods and even allowed me to give him a hug which was a truly beautiful moment.

Xavior | Age 17

Challenge

Xavior’s parents reached out after he had his first anxiety attack over a test at school. Xavior spoke about shortness of breath and racing thoughts.

Solution

Yoga

Results

After 2 sessions, Xavior expressed his nervousness to try yoga, but by the second session he felt comfortable trying it on his own. I gave Xavior exercises he can do before his tests to mitigate his anxiety including breath work. He reported back a week later (after his next test) saying when he felt his anxiety rise, he focused on his breath.
